I have been married 40 years plus to Rick Michael Johnston and am a proud mother of four with six wonderful grandchildren. I absolutely love to travel and am currently studying Russian!
I am proud of my Costa Rican heritage. My mother, Aida Cordero Dyer, immigrated here as a foreign exchange student. She was Goosecreek’s first bilingual teacher and taught for 32 years. I expect to have an exciting and challenging year as we integrate technology instruction with Spanish through Distance Learning and look forward to 30 years with Kountze ISD.
