Officer Gary Bowers, with the Hardin County Sheriff's Department, has been assigned to Kountze ISD as our school resource officer.  Officer Bowers joined the HC sheriff's department in February 2002. Officer Bowers is responsible for dealing with truancy, criminal offenses that occur in the district, investigating district property damage due to vandalism, and the overall protection of Kountze ISD administration, faculty, support staff and students. Officer Bowers enjoys advancing his knowledge in technology and spending time with his wife and two children.
